We have more than 10 years experience in furniture building with Indonesians and have reduced to almost zero % any problems you might have. We have our own production facility.
Wood does move, it is the nature of wood. But we do not have any problems with warping, crackling and splitting. We kiln dry the wood in our own ovens to a moisture content of 8%. After one week out of the ovens it acclimatizes to 11% to 12%.
We use a 500 year old floating panels system to allow the panels to move inside the frames on the cabinets and doors. We pre-coat the raised panels inner edges with finish so if there is any shrinkage you will not see naked wood. We use silicon inside the panel frames to allow for movement but also remain stable and do not rattle.
We have been building kitchens and bathrooms now for 5 years for this group in Tulsa. We use several techniques that make the installation easy for a professional installer. It normally takes one week for an installer to completely install a household of our furniture.
- The sides of the cabinets where meets the wall will have an extra lip that if need be can be trimmed without modifying the cabinet.
- We build kitchen cabinets in sections that will fit through normal doors.
- We ship the crown molding for the upper cabinets separate so it can be installed at location to the fronts of the cabinet.
We use stressing techniques and can give you the Old World look both with Mahogany and Teak. Teak will cost you 10% more than Mahogany. Mahogany we use is Grade A and has the same wood quality as Teak. Mahogany does have a natural red tint that will show through on all finish colors.
We can match almost any color you need with the consideration of the Mahogany reddish background color. We offer both stains and painted finishes.
